Dr Saggar is a founder director and medical adviser to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity (UK). He is also medical adviser and former Chair of Specific Eye Conditions (SPECS), and umbrella organisation for local groups and societies for people with impaired vision. He is Secretary of the Clinical Genetics Society, the UK professional society for clinical geneticists.
